The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is one of the world’s oldest and largest grassroots mobilisation campaigns for HIV awareness in the world. Started in 1983, the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial takes place every third Sunday in May and is led by a coalition of some 1,200 community organisations in 115 countries.

The 2021 HIV+ Men’s Retreat will take place on Friday 16th to Sunday 18th April, the Retreat will once again be held at Vaughan Park in Long Bay just north of Auckland.
The aim of the retreat is provide the opportunity to meet with other HIV positive men, provide opportunities to develop a support network, to create a safe and supportive environment for HIV positive men to discuss and share information, and to take time out - to facilitate rest, recreation and to revitalise yourself.

Pride will be celebrated throughout New Zealand during February & March, with events taking place in most major centres
Body Positive will be hosting two events in Auckland this year - Sex Positive on the 18th Feb and Circle of Love on 21st Feb. Both are free events and open to anyone to attend, so come along and show your support!

The Circle of Friends memorial recognises people living with HIV and their allies. The Circle of Love will host a positive pride picnic bringing community together at this important site. Bring your picnic and join us for an afternoon of food and music. We will be teaching the traditional activity of poi – making poi and practicing traditional poi spinning. Join us for the positive picnic in the park and celebrate the circle of love.

A community discussion around your sexual health and being able to ask all of those questions that you have been shy to discuss. We will have speakers to break the ice and discuss subjects such as PrEP, U=U, PnP, OnlyFans. This is a safe space to hear the answers to the questions you were to shy to ask.
